Manitoba PNP Draw Highlights Overseas Talent With 26 Invitations

On May 1, 2025, the Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program (MPNP) conducted its latest Expression of Interest (EOI) Draw #244 for the Skilled Worker Overseas stream. This draw specifically targeted candidates who had been directly invited by the MPNP through its strategic recruitment initiative.

In total, 26 Letters of Advice to Apply (LAAs) were issued to eligible candidates. The lowest-ranked candidate invited in this draw had a ranking score of 727. Of the 26 candidates who received an invitation, 7 had declared that they held a valid Express Entry profile number and job seeker validation code.

Important Notes:

• The MPNP noted that only candidates who had been invited under a strategic recruitment initiative were considered for this draw. This initiative focuses on attracting skilled workers whose qualifications match the province's labor market needs.
• The MPNP also provided important clarification for candidates who did not receive an LAA despite having a higher score than the lowest-ranked invited candidate. One possible reason is that candidates may not have provided valid language test results or their test results may have expired. Another reason could be that candidates failed to include a valid Invitation to Apply (ITA) number when they had previously been invited under a strategic recruitment initiative.
• Applicants are encouraged to carefully review their EOI profiles to ensure they have entered all required information correctly, including language test details and ITA numbers. If any discrepancies are found, candidates are advised to update their EOI profiles to increase their chances of being invited in future draws.
