Manitoba Conducts Its First PNP Draw of March,24 with 104 Invitations

Manitoba PNP conducted its latest draw on 8 March 2024. It is the first draw of March. 

In the Manitoba PNP Draw, there were a total of 104 invitations under the Skilled Worker Overseas Stream. Out of these, 20 invitations were issued to the candidates who had a valid Express Entry profile and job seeking validation code.

• Ranking score of lowest-ranked candidate invited: 614

Candidates that fall under one of the MPNP streams receive monthly invites from the Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program. The MPNP application determines the minimum score, type, and date of the next Manitoba PNP draw.

Manitoba PNP Streams 

There are five main streams a candidate can choose from- 

1.Skilled Worker in Manitoba Stream 

There are two routes available to skilled workers in Manitoba Stream:

       i). Manitoba Work Experience Pathway 

Those with temporary work permits currently employed in Manitoba can follow this route. This covers temporary employees as well as foreign post-secondary graduates from Canadian universities.

     ii).Employer-Direct Recruitment Process

To qualify for this pathway, an interview with a Manitoba company and an MPNP representative must be conducted. 

2. Skilled Worker Overseas Stream 

There are two main pathways under this stream: 

     i). Manitoba Express Entry Pathway 

Those who have an active Express Entry profile qualify for this pathway. These individuals must also have a strong connection to Manitoba and experience in a field that is included on the province's list of in-demand occupations.

    ii). The Human Capital Route

This route is intended for international professionals. Candidates should have experience in occupations that are in-demand in Manitoba.

3.Manitoba Business Investor Stream

If a candidate wants to go to Manitoba to work, there are two options:

       i).Farm Investor Pathway 

Those who have experience in the farm business and want to immigrate to Manitoba to start and run a farm there can follow this pathway. 

    ii). Pathway for Entrepreneurs

Under this pathway, the candidate must be willing to co-own a current firm, start a new one, or buy an already established firm. 

4. International Education Stream

This stream is for international graduates from Manitoba’s educational institutions who satisfy the labour market's demands. People who apply through these streams can have quicker access to Permanent Residency. 

5. Morden Community Driven Initiative

This is one of the most recent streams of Manitoba. Morden, a town in Manitoba, is seeking new immigrants for certain jobs that would fill the labour shortage there. Those who are successful will be granted Permanent residency in Canada.
