Latest British Columbia PNP Draw Issued ITAs to Entrepreneurs

The province of British Columbia conducted its latest PNP draw and issued invitations to potential entrepreneurs to immigrate and establish a business in BC PNP.

This draw was on January 28, 2025, and invited around 8 eligible entrepreneurs. 

The draw was held under the Regional and Base streams with a minimum score of 123, respectively. 

Under this Entrepreneur Immigration category– Regional stream, the draws are conducted approximately monthly. 

The invitations were issued to entrepreneurs who are qualified and have the potential to set up or establish a business in the province with innovative ideas. 

However, entrepreneurs must demonstrate that their businesses have enough capacity to create jobs for natives. 

Although under the base stream, the invitations to apply were issued based on one of the following factors:

1. Qualified candidate’s registration score.
2. The specific region where the applicant wants to establish a business.
3. The population size of the community where an entrepreneur wants to establish a business. 
4. Whether the proposed business is a start-up or a purchased one of an existing business. 
5. Whether the proposed business is aligned with identified priority business sectors. 

The draw under the base stream was held periodically but with limited target invitations to maintain a standard processing time. 

The province of British Columbia invites candidates and offers opportunities to live and work permanently in the province through the British Columbia PNP draws. 

The candidates are ranked based on the points calculated by the BC PNP point calculator to check their eligibility to immigrate to Canada.

Candidates who secure the highest points can apply to Immigration, Refugee, and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) for permanent residency in Canada.

To receive an invitation from British Columbia, candidates must meet the eligibility requirements of the specific streams they are interested in. 

Upon receiving an invitation, a candidate must submit an Expression of Interest (EOI) online and provide accurate information about language skills, education, and work experience.
