Express Entry Draw IRCC Invites 1,499 Candidates For Canada PR

On 19 June 2024, Immigration Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) invited 1,499 candidates under the PNP category. This is the first Express Entry Draw of the month.
The minimum CRS score required for the latest draw is 663.  

In the previous draw released on 31 May 2024, a total of 3,000 candidates were invited and the CRS Score required was 522.

Express Entry  

Express Entry is the primary pathway for Canada's Permanent Residency. 

Under this three economic immigration programs are there

• Federal Skilled Worker Program 
• Canadian Experience Class
• Federal Skilled Trades Program

Under Express Entry, candidates submit an online profile score based on education, work experience, language ability, and more.

Different Types of Rounds of Invitation 

• General Category - This category invites top candidates who are eligible in one of the three programs to participate in the Express Entry pool. The three Express Entry programs are Federal Skilled Worker Program, Federal Skilled Trades Program and Canadian Experience Class. 
• Program-Specific Category -  In this category, candidates with specific Express Entry programs are invited to apply. For example- IRCC often has specific draws for Provincial Nominee Program. 
• Category-Based - For this, the candidate has to meet certain economic benefits to be eligible for this type of invitation.

1. Healthcare occupations
2. STEM professions (Science, technology, engineering, and mathematics)
3. Proficiency in French language
4. Trades occupations - carpenters, plumbers, and contractors
5. Occupations Related to Transportation
6. Agriculture and agri-food occupations
