Different Types of Rounds of Invitation
- General Category - This category invites top candidates who are eligible in one of the three programs to participate in the Express Entry pool. The three Express Entry programs are Federal Skilled Worker Program, Federal Skilled Trades Program and Canadian Experience Class.
- Program-Specific Category - In this category, candidates with specific Express Entry programs are invited to apply. For example- IRCC often has specific draws for Provincial Nominee Program.
- Category-Based - For this, the candidate has to meet certain economic benefits to be eligible for this type of invitation.
