Canada Express Entry Draw 277: Transport Services Paves Way for 670 Candidates

December 20^th witnessed the latest Express Entry Draw in the Transport occupations category. With a minimum CRS Score of 435, new opportunities opened for 670 new candidates. 

This is the 4^th draw in the month of December. After November witnessed a complete shutdown due to technical glitches, IRCC announced 4 Draws in December. The Canadian government is keen on inviting skilled professionals through speedy pathways. 

The Transport occupation sector last conducted a draw on the 20^th of September, 2023, wherein inviting 1000 candidates in this category. The Canadian government aims to fill diverse positions in this category for substantial economic growth.

The Second Transportation Occupation Draw

The Canadian Government aims to recruit skilled workers in transportation occupations. The job profiles under this category include truck and delivery drivers, pilots, mariners, train conductors, railway technicians, mechanics, engineers, transportation planners, and managers, machine operators, logistics experts, and transportation safety experts. 

This Draw is held to expedite the immigration of skilled transportation occupation workers and add value to the national economy. On the 20^th of September, 2023, Draw 264 was held for the aforementioned category, and 1000 ITAs were sent. Canada is always in search of the best global talents to boost their economic growth.

This is the second draw in this category and a minimum of 425 CRS is to be achieved to qualify for this category-specific draw.

What are the Eligibility Criteria for this category?

To be eligible for the Transportation Occupation Category, these are the prerequisites:

1. A full-time work experience for at least 6 months or an equivalent part-time experience in the enlisted job categories
2. The job experience should be acquired either in Canada or in any other foreign country
3. Meet all the requirements as outlined
