British Columbia Latest PNP Draw Invites Skilled Workers

On 17 September, 2024 British Columbia released its latest PNP draw. A total of 163 invitations were issued under Entry Level and Semi-skilled, Skilled Worker Stream and International Graduate Stream along with EEBC options. 
The CRS cut-off for this category ranges from 83-128. Experienced professionals under Childcare, Healthcare and Construction categories were targeted in this PNP Draw.

Streams under British Columbia PNP  

There are several streams under BC PNP Draw such as:- 
Skilled Worker Stream - International skilled workers with post-secondary education or training and experience in professional, management, technical, trade or other skilled occupations are given priority in this stream. Candidate’s occupation must fall under the National Occupation Classification. 

International Graduate Stream - Candidates enrolling under this stream must have a full-time permanent job offer in a skilled occupation from a British Columbia company. A degree, diploma, or certificate from an approved post-secondary institution in Canada is a requirement of this stream. 

Occupational Categories of BC PNP Draw 

There are five main occupational categories of BC PNP Draw: -

Childcare - Early childhood educators and assistants are targeted in this occupational type.  

Construction - The candidate must have a full-time job in the construction industry and have a trade certificate   to be eligible for this type. 

Healthcare - This type targets the nurse practitioners, physicians and other provincial health occupations. 

Tech - The following are the requirements of this draw type - 

1. the job offer must be in one of the technology occupations
2. the job offer must be of at least one year in duration 
3. there must be at least 120 calendar days remaining on the job offer at the time of application

Veterinary Care - Candidates belonging to occupations like veterinarians, animal health technologies get the benefit from this type.
