In these draws, the total number of invitations issued was 3,545, with varied CRS scores.
On December 4, 2024, the draw was held under the Dedicated Healthcare Pathway– Express Entry, with the following specifications:
A total number of 52 invitations were issued under this category with a minimum score of 49.
However, on the same date, December 4, 2024, the province conducted another draw under a different category. This draw was held under the Dedicated Healthcare Pathway– non-Express Entry, with the following specifications:
A total number of 27 invitations were issued in this draw, with a minimum score of 47.
On December 10, 2024, Alberta conducted its draw under the Alberta Express Entry Stream– Priority Sectors with the following specifications:
An ineligible occupation under the Alberta Opportunity Stream.
An occupation in the National Occupation Classification (NOC) has broad occupation categories, such as business, finance, and administration occupations, as well as sales and service occupations.
A total number of 262 invitations were issued under this category, with a minimum score of 65.
On December 11, 2024, Alberta conducted its draw under the Alberta Express Entry Stream– Accelerated Tech Pathways with the following specifications:
A total number of 87 invitations were issued under this category, with a minimum score of 59.

The AAIP selects candidates to apply for permanent residency in Alberta. If you have received a nomination from the province, you must submit a permanent residency application to the Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC). You can apply for Canada PR with your spouse or partner and dependent children.

AAIP conducts its draws usually on a weekly basis. The size and frequency of the draw depending on the AAIP’s application backlog.
The processing time of the AAIP application is determined by many following factors:
The completeness, eligibility, and valid information in the application
Quantity or volume of the application received
Date when the application was received
Labour market, strategic priorities, and economic development needs
The remaining number of nomination certificates for the year
