492 Invited in Latest Manitoba PNP Draw Focused on Family Support and Skilled Workers

On June 26, 2025, the latest Manitoba PNP draw, Expression of Interest Draw #248, issued a total of 492 Letters of Advice to Apply (LAAs) through two key pathways: the International Education Stream and the Skilled Worker Stream to move to Canada for Permanent Residency.

A significant portion of the invitations, 478 in total, were sent to candidates under the International Education Stream. 

This specific selection focused on applicants who declared having a close relative living in Manitoba. The relative must be a Canadian citizen or permanent resident who has lived in Manitoba for at least one year and is considered an established resident. 

Eligible relationships include parents, siblings, nieces, nephews, uncles, aunts, grandparents, and first cousins. Candidates selected in this stream must submit documentation to prove both the family relationship and their Manitoba Supporter’s duration of residence in the province.

The remaining 14 LAAs were issued under the Skilled Worker Stream, specifically to those directly invited by the MPNP under strategic recruitment initiatives. These included:

Employer Services: 5 invitations
Francophone Community: 5 invitations
Regional Communities: 3 invitations
Ethnocultural Communities: 1 invitation

The lowest ranking score among those invited in this category was 712.

Out of the total 492 invitations, 65 candidates also declared a valid Express Entry profile number and a job seeker validation code.

The latest Manitoba PNP draw continues to highlight the province’s efforts to attract applicants with genuine connections to the region, whether through family support or targeted recruitment. Candidates are advised to review their Expression of Interest (EOI) submissions carefully, ensuring all information, such as valid language test numbers or invitation codes, is accurate and up to date. Failure to do so may affect eligibility in future draws.
