OINP Issued Invitations under the Human Capital Priorities Stream

The Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP) conducted its recent draw on July 25, 2024, and issued 209 Number of Invitations (NOIs) under the Human Capital Priorities Stream. 

An applicant from the Express Entry pool with the listed tech occupations and a Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score ranging from 395-444 will receive an invitation to apply: 

• NOC 20012 – Computer and information systems managers
• NOC 21211 – Data Scientists
• NOC 21220 – Cyber Security specialists
• NOC 21221 – Business systems specialists
• NOC 21222 – Information systems specialists
• NOC 21223 – Database analysts and data administrators
• NOC 21230 – Computer systems developers and programmers
• NOC 21231 – Software engineers and designers
• NOC 21232 – Software developers and programmers
• NOC 21233 – Web designers
• NOC 21234 – Web developers and programmers
• NOC 21311 – Computer engineers (except software engineers and designers)
• NOC 22220 – Computer network technicians
• NOC 22221 – User support technicians
• NOC 22222 – Information systems testing technicians

OINP regularly searches for candidates in the Immigration Refugees and Citizenship Canada’s (IRCC) Express Entry pool to send a notification of interest to the eligible candidates who meet the eligibility criteria for one of Ontario’s Express Entry immigration streams.

After receiving an invitation under the qualified stream, applicants have 45 days to submit an online application to the OINP. They will receive 600 points, which will increase their CRS scores.

The total number of invitations issued in 2024 so far under the streams are:

• The Human Capital Priorities Stream– 10,038.
• French-speaking skilled worker stream– 1,196. 
• Skilled Trades stream– 6,412
