New Ontario PNP Draw : 2104 NOIs issued in Human Capital Priorities Stream

On March 7 2024, Ontario issued 2,104 NOIs for Express Entry candidates falling under the Human Capital Stream.  The Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score ranged from 352-421. 

Last month, the CRS score was between 379-430 and the number of invitations issued were 4204 for this stream.  

Three Main Streams Under OINP- 

1. Human Capital Stream 

It is an important stream under the Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program. This stream gives an opportunity to foreign workers to  permanently live and work in Ontario. 

The Human Capital Stream has few criterias for its eligibility and should belong to one of the six occupations mentioned below:

• NOC 2173 - Software engineers and designers 
• NOC 2174 - Computer programmers and media developers 
• NOC 2147- Computer engineers 
• NOC 2175- Web designers and developers 
• NOC 2172- Database analysts and data administrators 
• NOC 0213- Computer and information systems managers

2.Skilled Trades Stream 

To be eligible under the OINP Express Entry Skilled Trades Stream, candidates must:

• Have a valid profile in the federal Express Entry pool
• Be eligible for the Canadian Experience Class (CEC)
• Show an interest in immigrating to Ontario in the Express Entry profile

3.French-Speaking Skilled Worker Stream

To qualify for the French-speaking Skilled Worker Stream in Ontario, applicants need to meet the following requirements:

• Fulfill the criterias for either the Canadian Experience Class (CEC) or the Federal Skilled Worker Program (FSWP) among Canada's Federal Skilled programs
• Fulfill the work experience requirements for the stream. To qualify as the French-Speaking Skilled Worker, according to the National Occupational Classification (NOC), “ at least one year of Paid full-time work experience or part-time in TEER Category 0,1,2 or 3.’’
• Show a level of proficiency in all four language domains (speaking, reading, writing, and listening) by securing CLB 7 or higher in French and a CLB 6 or higher in English.
