Latest Manitoba PNP Draw Shortlists 67 Profiles

On July 10, 2025, the Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program (MPNP) held its Expression of Interest Draw #249, inviting 67 candidates to apply for a provincial nomination for Canadian permanent residency. 

This draw primarily targeted applicants under the International Education Stream (IES) and Skilled Worker Stream, with a focus on high-demand skills and strategic recruitment efforts.

Under the Graduate Internship Pathway (GIP) of the International Education Stream, 40 Letters of Advice to Apply (LAAs) were issued to candidates who completed a master's or doctoral degree in Manitoba within the past three years and participated in a Mitacs Elevate or Accelerate internship. Eligible candidates were also required to demonstrate a minimum CLB/NCLC 7 in English or French.

In the Skilled Worker Stream, 27 invitations were sent to individuals who were directly invited under strategic recruitment initiatives. The lowest-ranked candidate in this category had a ranking score of 673. 

Specific subcategories included:

• Employer Services: 3 invitations
• Francophone Community: 2 invitations
• Regional Communities: 4 invitations
• Ethnocultural Communities: 18 invitations

Notably, 29 candidates had valid Express Entry profiles and job seeker validation codes, strengthening their prospects of receiving a Canada PR through the federal immigration system.

Candidates are reminded to ensure the accuracy of their EOIs, including valid language test numbers and strategic recruitment invitation details. Those working in regulated occupations must also be fully licensed to work in Manitoba.

This draw underscores Manitoba’s continued efforts to retain international graduates and skilled workers aligned with labour market needs, making it an attractive pathway for candidates eyeing Canada immigration in 2025.
