Latest Manitoba PNP Draw Issued 274 Invitations

The Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program (MPNP) held its first draw of the month and granted 274 candidates a chance to become permanent residents of Canada.

The latest draw ON November 8, 2024 where 274 LAAs were given out to the three streams of the program. Of these, 33 were applicants who possessed and had sought validation of their job seeker validation code with an Express Entry profile.

The Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program (MPNP) draw enables potential immigrants to Manitoba to submit or upload an Expression of Interest (EOI), which is a profile in an online or digital format rather than an application. Before they consider going elsewhere, people who want to immigrate need to first fill out the EOI and answer some questions for EOI to be eligible.

From the response, each candidate in this case is said to gain ranking points concerning six aspects:

Factors and Maximum Points of the EOI Rating System:

Age - Maximum of 75 points

Language Proficiency - Maximum of 125 points

Education - Maximum of 125 points

Employment History - Maximum of 175 points

Adjustability - Maximum of 500 points

Risk - up to 200-point deduction if certain risk factors exist

Once an EOI is made by the candidates, they are then placed in a pool where rankings will be calculated using the MPNP points calculator. Individuals with high rankings are preferentially selected in subsequent MPNP draws where an individual can receive an LAA. The number of issues and the time period over which issues are made is based on the number of applications MPNP has for that particular year. Based on the information given, it is said that 80 percent of the applications will be completed within 9- 12 months.

Important Note for Selected Candidates

If you participated in the latest draw and have been selected, you must apply within the sixty days frame. None of the candidates who have surpassed this given period will have the eligibility to be awarded a Letter of Advice to Apply (LAA).
