Latest Express Entry Draw Issues 4000 ITAs Under CEC Category

On September 19, 2024, Immigration Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) invited 4,000 candidates under the Canadian Experience Class category. The minimum Comprehensive Ranking Score (CRS) cut-off required for this latest draw is 509. 

Express Entry: Pathway to Canada Immigration

Express Entry is one of the most direct pathways for Canada Immigration. Once the candidate has scored 67 points out of 100, the candidate can enter the Express Entry pool. In the EOI pool, the candidate gets a Comprehensive Ranking Score. 

Why are CRS scores high in the Latest Express Entry Draws?

There are three factors that have influenced the CRS scores in the Express Entry Latest Draw:- 

• In recent times, the allocation of invitations have increased in the category-based draws. Hence, the Comprehensive Ranking Score has also increased. 
• Increasing competition among the candidates is another reason for higher CRS. Many candidates are now getting nominations from their provinces. 
• Canada is the top choice for immigrants. Due to this, the demand for Express Entry Draws goes up. 

Instructions for Each round of Invitations

Each round has particular instructions posted online at the time of the round and used by the Express Entry system to invite candidates from the pool. The instructions are:- 

• Date and time on which the round is held
• The number of candidates who will get an invitation to apply
• Type of the round to be held, i.e., general, category-based, and program-specific
• If program-specific, then which immigration program is included in the round
• If category-based, the eligibility of the candidate for a specific category
