Latest Express Entry Draw Invites 1,350 Candidates for Canada PR

The Immigration Refugee and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) has released its second Express Entry Draw for 2025, inviting aspirants to apply for permanent residency.
 
The January 8, 2025 draw saw 1,350 invitations under the Canada Experience Class category.
 
However, the minimum comprehensive ranking system (CRS) score required for the lowest-ranked candidate invited was 542.

The CRS is a point-based system that ranks candidates in the Express Entry draw, depending on work experience, skills, education qualifications, and other criteria.

 The Express Entry Draw, which is held regularly provides aspiring candidates with a golden chance to apply for permanent residency in Canada under one of three economic programs managed by the system namely, the Federal Skilled Worker Program, Federal Skilled Trades Program, and Canadian Experience Class.
