Latest BC PNP Draw invites 70 Candidates for Canada PR

On 28 May, 2024 British Columbia announced its latest PNP draw. A total of 70 invitations were issued under Express Entry and Semi-skilled Stream, Skilled Worker Stream and International Graduate Stream along with EEBC options. The CRS cut-off for this category ranges from 80-131.
Apart from the General category, professionals under Childcare, Healthcare, Construction and Veterinary care categories were targeted in this PNP Draw.
If you have been invited in this latest BC PNP draw, you will now have 30 days to submit a complete application at the online portal of British Columbia PNP.

Streams under British Columbia PNP :-
Skilled Worker Stream - International skilled workers with post-secondary education or training and experience in professional, management, technical, trade, or other skilled occupations are given priority in this stream. Candidate’s occupation must fall under the National Occupation Classification.
International Graduate Stream - Candidates enrolling under this stream must have a full-time permanent job offer in a skilled occupation from a British Columbia company. A degree, diploma, or certificate from an approved post-secondary institution in Canada is a requirement of this stream.
Express Entry and Semi-skilled Stream - Candidates who are nominated by this stream will have to submit an official document for Canada PR. This program offers requirements for those with semi-skilled work experience in the Northeast Development Region.
Occupational Categories of BC PNP Draw :-
There are five main occupational categories of BC PNP Draw: -
- Childcare - Early childhood educators and assistants are targeted in this occupational type.
- Construction - The candidate must have a full-time job in the construction industry and have a trade certificate to be eligible for this type.
- Healthcare - This type targets the nurse practitioners, physicians and other provincial health occupations.
- Tech - The following are the requirements of this draw type -
- the job offer must be in one of the technology occupations
- the job offer must be of at least one year in duration
- there must be at least 120 calendar days remaining on the job offer at the time of application
- Veterinary Care - Candidates belonging to occupations like veterinarians, animal health technologies get the benefit from this type.
