Latest Manitoba PNP Draw Invites Top 41 Talents

On 20th February, the Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program (MPNP) conducted its #239th Expression of Entry Draw, targeting candidates under the International Education Stream and Skilled Worker Overseas.

A total of 41 Invitations were issued in this draw.

Among these, 19 invitations were issued to candidates under International Education Stream who declared:
- Eligibility under the stream
- Master’s Degree or higher as their highest level of qualification
- A close relative in Manitoba who is a Canadian permanent resident or citizen and has lived in Manitoba for at least one year.

The remaining 22 invitations were issued to profiles directly invited by the Manitoba Provincial Nominee (MPNP) through a strategic recruitment initiative.

The lowest-ranked candidate invited to this draw had a CRS score of 711.

Out of the total 41 Letters of Advice (LAA) issued in this draw, 7 were issued to candidates with a valid Express Entry Profile number and job seeker validation code.

This draw highlights that Manitoba focuses on attracting highly educated individuals with local connections and skilled workers who can contribute to its growth and economic development.

Notes to Remember

To qualify as a Manitoba supporter, the relative must be a sister, brother, niece, nephew, aunt, uncle, first cousin, mother, father, grandfather, or grandmother of the applicant or their spouse.

The Manitoba supporter must provide a Settlement Plan Part 2 with the application and show proof of residing in Manitoba for at least one year. This ensures that the supporter is well-established and capable of helping the applicant settle.

Even if your score is higher than the lowest-ranked candidate, but you haven’t received a Letter of Advice to apply, this could be because you have not provided a valid test number in your EOI and your language test is not valid, or you did not provide valid invitation number under strategic recruitment initiative.

Applicants who cannot prove their family relationship through documentation may reconsider applying, as the program strictly verifies the family ties to prevent misuse.
