Great News! Ontario PNP Draw Issues 1,269 Invitations

The Ontario PNP latest draw was held on 20 September, 2024. It saw a total of 1,269 invitations under the Human Capital Priorities stream. The CRS cut-off for this stream 414-444. 

If you have been selected for this draw, you will receive an invitation to apply through the OINP e-filing Portal account. To apply for Canada Permanent Residency, you must submit a completed application to the OINP.

Categories of Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program

There are four categories you can apply to:- 

• Human Capital Category 
• Masters and PhD Category 
• Employer Job Category 
• Business Category

Human Capital Category 

There are two subcategories for Human Capital Category such as Ontario Express Entry and Graduates Stream. 
Once you enter the Express Entry pool, you will get a nomination from the province. This subclass includes human capital priorities, skilled trade and french-speaking skilled workers. The minimum requirements to be eligible for this category are:-

• Have enough money to support yourself and your family.
• An intend to live in Ontario
• Must meet the additional requirements

Masters and PhD Category 

All the individuals having Masters degree and PhD from an Ontario university can apply under this category. Both these graduates use the Ontario’s Expression of Interest pool. The application fee is CAD 150. 

Employer Job Offer Category 

The following three programs exist under the Employer Job Offer Category:

• Foreign worker stream is for skilled workers
• All the recent graduates of Ontario comes under International students 
• In-demand Skills Stream is for skilled workers in certain sectors such as agriculture, construction and  support workers. 

Business Category

Entrepreneur Stream - This stream is for foreign business owners interested in purchasing an existing Ontario business or launching a new one.
Corporate Stream - A candidate must have at least 24 months of full-time business experience in the last 60 months in the corporate field.   
Investors Stream - Investment programs for foreign entrepreneurs, business owners, and investors, are one of the major ways to get Canada PR.
