British Columbia issued 12 Invitations in Latest PNP Draw

On March 18, 2025, British Columbia PNP held its latest Entrepreneur Immigration (EI) draw and issued invitations for potential entrepreneurs under two streams, which are EI Base and EI Regional. 

In the EI Base stream, a total of 8 invitations were issued, with a minimum score of 115. 

This stream targets qualified candidates based on several key factors:  

- Their registration score  
- The region where they plan to establish a business  
- Whether the proposed business aligns with priority sectors  
- Whether the business involves starting a new venture or purchasing an existing one  

Draws are conducted periodically based on the score alone, but targeted invitations may also be issued depending on additional factors, including: 
 
- The population size of the community  
- The local business needs  

This approach ensures that the program attracts entrepreneurs who can contribute to the economic growth and development of specific regions.

The EI Regional stream saw four invitations issued, with a higher minimum score of 123. 

These invitations are typically conducted on a monthly basis for entrepreneurs whose participating communities have referred. This stream encourages business establishment in specific regions and supports entrepreneurs with a business proposal that meets local needs.

Both streams aim to attract skilled entrepreneurs who can contribute to the local economy. While the EI Base stream remains more flexible, the EI Regional stream focuses on encouraging business growth in designated communities.
