British Columbia’s latest PNP draw took place on 23 April 2024. The draw issued 90 invitations to apply under the Skilled worker and International graduate categories, which also includes the EEBC option.
This draw targeted candidates with work experience in occupations such as childcare, healthcare, tech, construction, and veterinary care. The range of CRS scores for these categories is between 80 and 120.
The
British Columbia draw generally takes place four times a month. The next draw is expected to take place between
2 May 2024 - 5 May 2024.
Streams under Skilled Immigration :-
Skilled Worker (EEBC option)- International skilled workers with post-secondary education or training and experience in professional, management, technical, trade, or other skilled occupations are given priority in this stream. Candidate’s occupation must fall under the National Occupation Classification.
The International Graduate (EEBC option)- Candidates enrolling under this stream must have a full-time permanent job offer in a skilled occupation from a British Columbia company. A degree, diploma, or certificate from an approved post-secondary institution in Canada is a requirement of this stream.
Occupational Categories of BC PNP Draw :-
There are five main occupational categories of BC PNP Draw: -
Childcare - In this type, early childhood educators and assistants are targeted.
Construction - To be eligible for this type, the candidate must have a full-time job in the construction industry and have a trade certificate issued by Skilled Trades BC.
Healthcare - This type targets the nurse practitioners, physicians and other provincial health occupations.
- Tech - The following are the requirements of this draw type -
- the job offer must be in one of the technology occupations
- the job offer must be of at least one year in duration there must be at least 120 calendar days remaining on the job offer at the time of application
Veterinary Care - Candidates belonging to occupations like veterinarians, animal health technologies get the benefit from this type.
