4,000 ITAs Issued in Latest Express Entry Draw

On January 23, 2025, Immigration Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) held its latest Express Entry Draw, targeting primarily candidates under the Canadian Experience Class category.

This draw marks the significance of skilled workers with Canadian work experience in aspects of the country’s economy and market needs.

Highlights of the Draw

• A total of 4,000 Invitations to Apply (ITAs) have been issued to the eligible candidates.
• The minimum comprehensive ranking system (CRS) score required for the lowest-ranked candidate invited was 527.
• The rank required to receive an ITA is 4,000 or above.

Instructions for the round of Invitations:

Types of Round of Invitation

General Draw

This draw invites top-ranking candidates who are eligible for 1 of the three programs managed under Express Entry.  

Program-Specific Draw

Invites candidates from specific programs like the Canada Experience Class (CEC) category or Federal Skilled Program (FSWP).

Category-Based Draw

Invites top-ranking candidates who meet specific criteria such as certain job criteria or work experience.
