But there are few exceptions in the program such as:- 

• Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS, DMD)
• Bachelor of Law (LLB, JD, BCL)
• Doctor of Medicine (MD)
• Doctor of Optometry (OD)
• Pharmacy (PharmD, BS, BSc, BPharm)
• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM)
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN, BSN, BNSc)
• Bachelor of Education (B. Ed.)
• Bachelor of Engineering (B. Eng., BE, BASc)

Documents Required for Spouse Visa 2024 

The spouse has to fulfill certain criterias to get the visa. IRCC accepts the following documents:-

• A Valid Letter of Acceptance from a Designated Learning Institution 
• A Proof of Enrollment Letter from their Spouse 
• Proof of your Partner’s current program of study

Spouse Visa Applicants Applying before March 19 

According to IRCC those who applied for a SOWP before March 19 are still eligible if their partner:- 

1. Has a valid study permit
2. Is eligible for a post-graduation work permit (PGWP)
3. Is a full-time student at one of these types of schools:

•  public post-secondary school, such as a college   or university
•  private college-level school in Quebec
•  Canadian private school that can legally award degrees under provincial law
