Provincial Nominee Program (PNP)

Applying for Canada Study Visa

Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) is a Canadian immigration program that provides permanent residence to people who want to migrate to any Canadian province or territory. Canada has ten provinces and three territories and each province or territory have a different provincial nominee program (PNP).

Each program is designed to meet the needs and demands of the local labor market. Depending on the need for labor, the federal government allocates the number of immigrants for permanent residency. In recent years, the federal government has increased the allocations for the number of immigrants invited for PR through the PNPs. Canada plans to significantly increase the number to 500,000 per year by 2025.
